ETPAA has adopted Safe Sport certification policies in December of 2021. ETPAA will continue to use Safe Sport certification for the 2024 competitive year.

SafeSport is an independent organization whose mission focuses on performer safety from abuse in competitive environments. In an effort to keep focus on performers' safety across all ETPAA events, a color-coded badge system has been implemented to signify training levels and access to areas. Mandatory signage at all events helps all participants, audience members, volunteers, and staff members know their designated areas.

ETPAA is committed to providing a safe and educationally focused environment for all participants and will continue to work towards that goal with the help of Safe Sport training and policies.
